Like all good corporations, it is our intent to profit. Unlike all corporations (good, bad or indifferent) our definition of "profit" is not the same as theirs. Resolving Unfair Business Corporation believes we profit when people take control of their own lives, no longer permitting corporations to push them around, figuratively or literally.
That does not change the fact that running a corporation, with everything that entails, still costs money. When I am shopping and the clerk asks how I wish to pay I respond with “Buttons!” Unfortunately, none of the shops I frequent allow paying by buttons as an option. For some strange reason buttons are not recognized as valid currency. So for anyone wishing to donate buttons, thank you, but please keep them. I wouldn’t know what to do with them.
We intend to keep this organization going using our own resources for as long as possible. As things grow and expand, we believe it will become more expensive to operate than we will be able to fund from our own pockets. Two options available are:
- Convince other corporations to fund the operations at Resolving Unfair Business Corporation. This is not as insane as it may sound. Corporations have no soul or conscience. We can rent them our collective conscience. Through consulting, we will help corporations to become better corporate citizens while earning funds to promote our endeavours.
- Ask for help from those people willing to assist in our mission. This does not mean we are going to turn into a PBS station continually bombarding and hounding viewers to donate money. We will be seeking the help of people in researching, debating ideas and suggestions, helping with forum moderation and contributing content of their own. We do not want people to dedicate their lives to helping Resolving Unfair Business Corporation fulfill its stated mission. We ask as little, or as much, assistance as you are prepared to commit and donate. We all need to maintain a healthy balance in our lives so we can be truly happy.
As volunteers and funds become available, this organization will grow becoming a formidable force to be reckoned with. And it will be so, because of the individual and collective efforts of each and every one of you!
This concept will likely be appealing to you. If you wish to help financially we will accept financial donations. Sadly we do not offer interesting but inexpensive trinkets as bribes. Maybe if we setup an online store in the future we could sell T-shirts, keychains or even little gavels to beat corporations into submission. When a significant number request said T-shirts, keychains or gavels, that idea will be re-visited. For now, we suggest a personal donation of perhaps $5.00. We respectfully ask that all personal donations be kept to a maximum of $25.00. Corporations are permitted to donate as much money as they desire.
